In order to widen support for my audience, there are 2 versions of this website, both of which support SSL and plain HTTP.

Older browsers should use the plain HTTP, low bandwidth option.

High Bandwidth (Moden HTML + CSS)Low Bandwidth (HTML4 + light CSS)
HTTPSHTTPS
HTTPHTTP
Some browsers refuse to use HTTP once you have been to the SSL version.
To assist with that I have disabled HSTS but some browsers don't care.
Mostly HTML4 compatible
Should render nicely even if some tags are not supported

Thanks for dropping by my site.

This website is dedicated to the preservation and celebration of technology from the past, as well as exploring the cutting-edge developments of today.

My love for older computers and technology is what inspired me to create this website. I believe that these early technologies represent not just a piece of history, but a stepping stone towards the digital world we live in today.

By studying and understanding the technology of the past, we can better appreciate the present and imagine the future.

This website is a place where you can learn about the computers that I have, but also programming languages, and other early technologies that paved the way for the digital revolution.

I cover topics such as restoration, emulation, programming, and hardware, with a focus on retro tech but also exploring modern developments.

I believe that technology is not just a tool, but an art form. By exploring the beauty and innovation of these technologies, we can appreciate the artistry that went into their design and development.

I hope that my site will inspire you to delve deeper into the world of vintage computers and technology, and perhaps even inspire you to start your own collection or restoration project. Thank you for joining me on this journey through the past and present of technology.

If you want a bit more info about me personally, you can view my readme.txt.

Be sure to check out "the garage" for all my computer restoration projects and new builds.
